Recently, I read Behind the Formaldehyde Curtain by Jessica Mitford. Imagine a young lady smirking to herself on the bus, reading on her phone. That was me, embarrassingly (this sort of thing also happens when I listen to a particularly funny podcast on my morning commute- hence why more often that not, I’m seated at a window seat). So now, I bring to you the illustrations of one Edward St. John Gorey, late American writer and artist, noted for his illustrated works.
Who are your favorite artists/writers/illustrators? Leave me a name in a comment below, and I’ll be sure to check ’em out!
